RTA wants you to know . . .
RTA President, Donna Braye-Romero was able to meet with teachers at RHS at their lunchtime yesterday and is planning to do a ‘meet and greet’ with OPMS teachers during lunch today.

RTA wants you to know . . .
The State of California is in a budget crisis that could affect our schools. Please contact your lawmakers in Sacramento ASAP to encourage them to settle the budget now with no cuts to education. To do so go to the RTA website www.ramonateachers.org and click on ‘Contact Your Lawmakers’ in the left hand column of the website.

RTA wants you to know . . .
In light of the upcoming School Board Election, a Political Action Committee was formed by unanimous vote at the last RTA Executive Board meeting. This committee, headed by Mike Harrelson, will hold an organizational meeting on Sept. 4 and is planning to interview school board candidates on September 15th.
